Samolot Mikojan MiG-29GT, Muzeum Lotnictwa Polskiego, Kraków, 22 marca 2017 r. Myśliwiec MiG-29 został zaprojektowany w latach 70., a wszedł do służby w lotnictwie radzieckim w 1984 r. Służyły także w armiach krajów Układu Warszawskiego. Prezentowany w Muzeum egzemplarz powstał pod koniec lat 80. dla lotnictwa NRD. Po zjednoczeniu Niemiec MiGi-29 zostały przejęte przez Bundesluftwaffe, stając się pierwszym typem samolotu bojowego produkcji radzieckiej na wyposażeniu armii państwa NATO. W 2002 r. MiGi-29 zostały wycofane z eksploatacji i sprzedane Polsce za 1 euro. 5 lat później samolot został wycofany i przekazany do Muzeum. ** Mikoyan MiG-29GT airplane, Museum of Polish Aviation, Kraków, March 22, 2017 MiG-29 fighter was designed in the 1970s and entered the service in the Russian air force in 1984. This type of aircraft served also for other Warsaw Pact armies. The presented aircraft was built in the late 1980s for the air force of the German Democratic Republic. After the reunification of Germany the MiG-29s were taken over by the Bundesluftwaffe, as the first type of Soviet aircraft operated by a NATO country. In 2002 MiG-29s were retired and sold to Poland for a sum of 1 euro. Five years later the aircraft was retired and donated to the Museum.
