Phan Xi Păng dans San Sả Hồ

Le Phan Xi Păng (orthographes alternatives Fansipan, Fan Si Pan et Phan Si Phăng) est une montagne se trouvant au nord-ouest du Việt Nam dans la province de Lào Cai. Appelée le toit du Việt Nam, haute de 3143 m, elle est le point culminant de l'Indochine.

Nicest way is to take the funicular from Sa Pa Station (town centre) to the cable car's ground station, then head up. The cable car is impressive, the views are great, though the price is outrageous.

Probably the best experience I’ve had. Sea of clouds, rolling mist, same altitude as plane seatbelt signs come off, you are flying on solid ground. Beyond breathtaking.
